Carrie Barnthouse (Teacher)
Carrie is thrilled to be a part of the TbT NYC Team! She is a professional actor and choreographer in New York City. As a performer, some of her favorite productions include: Into the Woods, The Cat in the Hat, Arnie the Donut, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the world premiere of Maggie Cassidy. This past year, she had the joy of playing the role of Jenny in the independent film, Lakota Girls, which premiered at the Black Hills Film Festival and was featured again at the Hollywood Film Festival. Carrie had the privilege of working with CYT Indy during the summer of 2012 as both Director and Choreographer of their summer camp. She has also worked as the Camp Director and Assistant Choreographer for Summer Stock Stage - a premiere semi-professional youth theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carrie loves sharing her passion for the theatre with young artists and delights in helping them find and celebrate their own unique gifts.
