Richelle Blauvelt (Coordinator/Marketing Manager)
Richelle Blauvelt hails from Ellenville, NY, a small town in the Catskills, and is now based in New York City. After studying theater at a H.S. Performing Arts Academy, Richelle earned her BFA with an emphasis in Musical Theater from CAP21 at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. As part of her extensive training in acting, voice and dance, she performed in various university shows and student films as well as showcases and gala events throughout the city. Post-graduation performances include "Spelling Bee" and "Peter Pan" with a regional repertory theater in California, as well as original musical productions of "A Christmas Carol" at the Players Theater in NYC and "The Ugly Duckling" at the Seven Angels Theater in Connecticut. She also worked as a teaching artist with ENACT, a theater company designed to help New York City public school students learn social, emotional and behavioral skills through creative drama and drama therapy techniques. Richelle has always taken great joy in working with students and seeing all that the next generation has to offer. She is passionate about the positive impact that theater can have and is excited to continue to share in TbT's vision of using it to help shape the lives of students! Being a part of the CYT NYC/ TbT team since it’s beginnings has been a delight and Richelle looks forward to working with all the wonderful kids and families for years to come!
