Video Audition Submission due by April 5. Workshop Dates: April 17-June 26.
Please read all audition and rehearsal information carefully.
TbT is excited to partner with Rock Rising (run by several TbT teachers) offering students ages 10-19 a unique opportunity to participate in the ongoing development of a new musical for kids! Everyday Charlie - A Cool Musical for Kids is an endearing story about friendship, teamwork, and overcoming difficult moments at school filled with contemporary, catchy original songs. Students will work first-hand with the show's creators and TbT's Creative Team to shape the musical, while learning scenes, songs, and choreography in a collaborative setting. Your ideas may make it into the final script! Don't miss your chance to join the Everyday Charlie premiere cast!
Interested students should audition via video submission after registering (details below) and will be cast in a specific role for the show's rehearsal process. Space is limited. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, however, we cannot guarantee that all students who audition will be cast in the workshop (partly due to COVID restrictions).
Rehearsals will take place in a hybrid format - both in-person and online.
Students will meet in-person at Central Park on Saturdays and online on Wednesday afternoons as needed. Select Saturday afternoon rehearsals may transfer to St. Gregory's Playground on the UWS after lunch (TbT staff and students will walk over together).
All cast members will perform in a music video featuring an Everyday Charlie musical production number. Students will also present a live Showcase for family (TBD depending on current COVID restrictions). There will not be a live performance for the general public due to health and safety concerns.

1) Register to be in the show (this confirms your commitment).
2) Submit an audition video by Monday, April 5 (details below).
