Play in a Day Weekend Camp

Classes meets one Friday evening and one full day Saturday with a final presentation.

Have an idea for a play you’d like to write? Ever wanted to try your hand at directing? Join us for our Weekend Intensive Writing and Directing Workshop, where students will write their own original short plays and then watch them come to life!

By the end of the Workshop, students will be equipped with the skills necessary to turn their great ideas into cohesive scripts as well as how to direct fellow students in their work. No writing or directing experience necessary, just bring your writing utensil and get ready for a whirlwind weekend of theater-making! There will be a brief presentation at the end of class on Saturday to share some of the newly created work.
